Lady in Red ♡

Red was never my fave color. But once Someone Special inspired me to wear Red. Then I have been started to wear Red as per his Special request. Although he's not in my life now. But his absence can't make fade my urge towards Red. Whenever I wear Red nowadays, I always feel his presence in his absence..

Missing you, Ani!! :)

Live ......

“If one has failed to develop curiosity and
interest in the early years, it is a good idea to
acquire them now, before it is too late to
improve the quality of life. To do so is fairly
easy in principle, but more difficult in
practice. Yet it is sure worth trying. The first
step is to develop the habit of doing whatever
needs to be done with concentrated attention,
with skill rather than inertia. Even the most
routine tasks, like washing dishes, dressing, or
mowing the lawn become more rewarding if we
approach them with the care it would take to
make a work of art. The next step is to
transfer some psychic energy each day from
tasks that we don’t like doing, or from passive
leisure, into something we never did before, or
something we enjoy doing but don’t do often
enough because it seems too much trouble. There
are literally millions of potentially interesting
things in the world to see, to do,
to learn about. But they don’t become actually
interesting until we devote
attention to them.”

Silver Lining Clouds

These are photographs of clouds from a different
vantage point - from up in the air, a bird's eye
view. The real height and depth of the clouds
once viewed from the top is different.
On a fairly cloudless and calm day they might
look like this:
Usually though days are not that clear and there
is more of a crowd up in the sky. But even this
is a fairly cloudless day for the humans down
there.
It's getting cloudier now, and passing through
some dark clouds. The cloud on the top left
looks like a bunch of people gathered in a circle,
celebrating something. Now that's a view you
won't get from the earth!
Clouds are pretty thick now. One can still get a
glimpse of earth though in the next two photos.
In this last image the aeroplane is heading
straight into a very thick cloud. Going to be a
bumpy ride. Inside such a cloud as there are air
currents that can cause air turbulence.

Chotushkone (Death... Fair & Square)

★ Raju Guide ★

There was something very touching and
endearing about his desperate attempts to woo back his audience and somehow win its approval. He was like a school boy forever craving the appreciation of his elders and teachers. Even after six decades in the movie business, he clearly craved recognition and immortality. And we had somehow persuaded ourselves that he was going to be around forever. In a way, he will be. Dev Anand’s work and immense contribution to Indian cinema will live long after he’s gone and forgotten.

I'll Always Remember You..

My Beloved,
I feel you in the morning When at first I awake. Your thought is with me With each decision I
make. You'd been around forever since the first
breath I took. Now I have to go on alone but for
love I need not look because of what you
bestowed. In our short time together every
memory will last in my heart forever and ever.
Although you've left and walk above, I'm never
alone cause i'm wrapped in you love. Enjoy now
your long awaited reward and feel the peace in
your heart. What was taught to me will be taught
to mine because you live on in me even after
you're gone. I will always remember you.

Live ★ Life ★ King ★ Size

I have come across this phrase very often and have been pondering over it. We all dream about living like a king. But what does that mean?
Does living like a king mean living in a luxurious house, having loads of money, having all the power in the world? With most of us having little
money in our pockets, a small apartment to live in, several liabilities and responsibilities, facing the nitty gritties of everyday life, we surely
cannot live like a king.
Thinking about it last night, I had a strange feeling. I thought are we not the king of our own lives. It is we who determine what we do, where we go, what we eat, where we live. We
develop our own lifestyle, we choose our own friends, switch jobs whenever we want to, choose to be vegetarians or not, marry the person whom we select, pursue hobbies we are interested in. Yes, we can drive our life as and
where we want to, but only if we 'want' to. We as individuals are responsible for our own self and can lead a life we have imagined making the best use of whatever we have. We can exercise
our power in our own little world.
Living life to the fullest with whatever resources we have, and Living life on our own terms.
I think that is what living like a king means!

Teacher's Day ☆Missing it ~

Today it's 5th September.  It's World Teacher's Day. But as I'm suffering from MRSA, I'm in Medical Leave. So, I'm missing my students, my schools (both my work place & the school where i studied), my teachers all the day.

Teacher's Day is celebrated for
represent gratitude for teachers by
student. The teacher’s day is
celebrated across all over world. In
different countries it is celebrated on
different date. Teachers day and
World’s Teacher day both are
different from each other. World
teacher’s day celebrates on 5th
October.
On teachers day Student offers
flowers, gifts, Greeting cards to their
teachers. Teacher play very important
role in building of a man. Teacher
doesn’t mean the only who teaches at
school and colleges, The teacher is
very broad term, It includes the every
person who points our mistakes and
leads us to right path of our life.
Teachers’ Day is celebrated as a
tribute to the valuable contribution
made by teachers to the society by
imparting knowledge and
enlightening and shaping the career
of students. For students, Teachers’
Day is an occasion to pay reverence
and gratitude to teachers for their
selfless effort in shaping their career
and enriching the education system
in the process.India celebrates Dr.
Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birthday
on September 5 since 1962. This is the
primary reason why countries
celebrate this day on different dates,
unlike many other International Days.

In India sometimes, Guru Pornima is
celebrated. On that day Shish (student
or follower) of Guru greets their
teachers. The schools and collages
makes the well preparations for the
celebrations. The speeches by
students for respect and thanking
teachers for their contribution. This is
often followed by a range of colorful
cultural programs, feast and other
activities which make the event
special and memorable.
Now a day’s, Teachers Day is one of
the occasions looked forward by
the teachers and students alike as on
this occasion it’s not only when
teachers are praised but also around
various schools students dress up as a
representation of their teachers and
take various lectures that are assigned
to the teachers they represent. As the
day passes the students do the regular
activities that are performed by the
teachers. On this day students realize
what it means to be a teacher and
what it means to control the future of
several students in their classes and
teachers are reminded what it felt
like when they were the students.

Miss You, My Love .....

Dear Love,

I feel sad and lonely. I miss you a lot. I’ve been thinking about you all the time. I'm missing you like crazy and I think I’m going mad. I simply can't stop thinking of the special times we had.
Each moment lasts an hour and each hour lasts a day, just because you went away.
I need you here beside me. You are always in my mind, by the time I wake up ti’ll I close my eyes.
I just want to see your face. I want to feel your warm body, hear your precious heartbeat and be lost in your embrace.
I gaze out of the window and look up at the moon. I miss you, My Darling. Please come back to me, come back to me soon. They say hope springs eternal. Well, I only hope it's true For I can't bare the emptiness that comes from missing you.
I Miss You!

♡ Happy RakshaBandhan ♡

The festival of Raksha Bandhan strengthens the eternal bond of love between brother and sister.
It is the perfect day for you to express how much you love and care your siblings. Along with presenting gifts, you can delight your dear siblings by sending impressive Rakhi messages or
sms. A message written by your own hand will definitely convey the love and heartfelt emotions towards your siblings. Moreover, the messages
will definitely remind your brother or sister the true essence of the Rakhi festival.

◇◇ Worth Reading or Worth Writing ◇◇

"Either write something worth reading or do something worth writing."
 - Benjamin Franklin

Every person has a different interest in the material they may read. Depending on how much the material is interesting to a person depends on how much it is worth reading to the reader.
Many people read for different reasons:
entertainment, to learn something new, to be persuaded about a specific topic, etc. Depending on the reader and the readers purpose. depends on if the material is worth reading. The reading
material must be interesting and on the readers level for it to be worth to the reader to read.
The quality of the reading is depended on the reader. Therefore, I believe that each person has a different viewpoint on there choice of reading material that is interesting and worth reading to them.

☆ Happy Friendship Day ☆

When we first talked to each other
I knew we would always be friends.
Our friendship has kept on growing
And I'll be here for you to the end.

You listen when I have a problem
And help dry the tears from my face.
You take away my sorrow
And put happiness in its place.

We can't forget the fun we've had
Laughing 'til our faces turn blue.
Talking of things only we find funny
People think we're insane-If they only knew!

I guess this is my way of saying thanks
For catching me when I fall.
Thanks once again for being such a good friend And being here
 with me through it all.

Top-3 Movies on Friendship starred by Aamir ♡

1. Rang De Basanti – Aamir Khan,
Sharman Joshi, Kunal Kapoor, Madhavan,
Soha Ali Khan (2006)

Fresh faces and an inimitable storyline
including friendship, war against
corruption and political distress made
Rang De Basanti an apt film for the
times. It had an incredible story about
friendship which the youth of today can
relate to. RDB is a must watch this
weekend with your friends.

2. Dil Chahta Hai – Aamir Khan, Saif Ali
Khan and Akshaye Khanna (2001)

The only film that revolves completely
around friends and friendship is Dil
Chahta Hai. The three lead characters are
the epitomes of true friends, but
circumstances drift them apart and the
film essentially tries to establish that
whatever complicated situations come in
one’s life, it’s absolutely impossible to
break the bond of a true friendship.

3. 3 Idiots – Aamir Khan, Sharman Joshi
& Madhavan (2009)

The story of 3 Idiots is a entertaining
journey of three friends who try to
explore themselves and share them
unforgettable experiences.  It dealt with
the education system in India and the
bond between three engineering students
in a premier institution of
engineering. It also showed how if one
followed his dreams, fame and family and
friends will never leave his or her side.

♥ My thoughts race back to you ♥

As I look
at the twinkling stars
in the skies,
My thoughts
race back to you...

As I watch
the gleaming moon
playfully stealing
across the skies,
My thoughts
race back to you...

As I feel
the comfort of
the cool breeze
blowing against my skin,
My thoughts
race back to you...

As I picture dawn
unfolding into
a new day of hopes
and possibilities,
My thoughts
race back to you...

For you
truly deserve
the beauty of
every moment that I live
as you are someone
who is
Very SPECIAL
to me...

>>Am I changing?

“I thought that if I could lay strength over my life like a prophecy, I would be putting on my coat of armor, protecting myself against anything that might test me along my journey.”

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I thought that if I could lay strength over my life like a prophecy , I would be putting on my coat of armor, protecting myself against anything that might test me along my journey.

It was indicative of the place where I wanted to be, not the place where I currently found myself.

But God had other plans.

“Strong” hasn’t resonated with me at all so far. In fact, the word that has consistently tapped on my shoulder is “gratitude.”

I think that’s the word God would have placed on my heart if I’d leaned in and prayed about my “one word.”

God has reminded me many times this year of how blessed a life I lead. I am learning I’m not the sum of those difficult times in my past and
there is gratitude to be found in such
experiences.

God is also knocking down that comfortable wall I’ve been hiding behind all my life—the one that separated me from a world crying out
for help, a world where I put my needs and problems before anyone else. A world that prevented me from having gratitude.

God is taking my hand and giving me new eyes with which to see the world. Through friends, books and community outreach, I am beginning to see the world with a new perspective. I’m
angered by the injustice and atrocities I’m learning about, by the way many people are living. And as my heart breaks, I feel gratitude for a new understanding.

I am grateful for perspective.

If, through those difficult times, I’d had the same perspective, found a way to be grateful, I think I would also have found some of the strength I so needed◆◆

Many Happy Returns, Dada!

It's 8th day of the month July. It's the Birthday of our very own Sourav Ganguly aka Dada. Here I'm wishing him A Very Happy Birthday!

Today I admit that he was the first Crush of mine! It was 1996, I was just crazy over him. I used to send him greeting cards and gifts on the purpose of every occasion. Once he came to my neighbour's house in 2001 (Coca-Cola arranged a contest..and Dada visited to the houses of the Winners to give them the prize-money). That time I saw him first from the distance of 2 feet. No doubt he was looking just a Charming Prince. I can't express my feelings in words.

Love you, Dada! May God fulfil your every wishes!  ♥♥♥
